Jy kan seker sê dat ek al 'n paar jaar besig is met hierdie lig. Lank terug al het ek my ou lessenaarlig se voetstuk verwyder en dit in dié glasbottel "ingebou". Dit het egter nooit rêrig klaar gevoel nie, maar ek het ook nie geweet wat ek verder daarmee wil maak nie.
Hierdie naweek besef ek toe dat ek my ou kabels kan gebruik om die lig klaar te maak, nadat ek ook al 'n paar weke lank loop en wonder wat ek met al my ongebruikte kabels kan maak.
En hier is dit nou. My "drukkerkabel-selfoonlaaier-telefoondraad-usb kabel-ou oorfone" lig.

It would be fair to say that I've been working on this light for a few years. Long ago I removed my old desk lamp's base and incorporated the top part into a glass bottle. It never really felt complete though, but I had no idea what else I wanted to do with it either.
So this weekend then I realised that I could use my old cables to complete the light. This after a few weeks of walking around wondering what to do with all my unused cables.
And now here it is. My "printer cable-cellphone charger-phone line-usb cable-old earphones" light.
